Kalispell police

| April 21, 2005 1:00 AM

Kalispell police took a report from a resident on Third Avenue West who was suspicious about an encounter at her home. Another woman called her and said she was an old neighbor, who wanted to pay a visit. Later, a woman in a motorcycle helmet and boots, tan corduroy pants and a sheep skin coat showed up, triggering trepidation but not a single memory from the resident.

A boy stole items from Movie Gallery and ran. Other thefts were reported at Syke's and the Salvation Army. A camera and thousands of dollars' worth of football and baseball cards were stolen from a vehicle on Ninth Avenue West.

The mustard and Silly String that festooned a vehicle on North Main Street caused it no damage.

A woman who was found slumped over her steering wheel at Main and Idaho Streets was given a ride home by a sober driver.

Somehow, a man in a stocking cap and jacket attracted attention when he urinated by mailboxes on Fifth Avenue East.}
