Kalispell police

A woman driving on Sixth Avenue West North was found to be distraught, not drunk. But a woman on Fifth Avenue East was charged with DUI by Kalispell police.

An intoxicated man who refused to leave a homeless shelter gathered his things and got a ride.

Police counseled two girls about the dangers of playing on the train trestle near Woodland Park. Officers stood by during the exchange of an air compressor that had caused strife between two people on North Meridian Road.

A woman on Fourth Street West said her former boyfriend ripped off a screen door at her house and knocked over shelves. A man at the Vacationer Motel said someone tossed his room and took items.

A dozen eggs and ice-cream toppings were poured down the outdoors stairs at the Kalispell Grand Hotel.

The man in a black hooded sweatshirt didn't do anything evil, but his lengthy presence and Kum N Go convenience store unnerved employees.

If anyone finds a partial set of dentures, there is a man who would be grateful to have them back.

A cat refugee camp was reported on Fourth Avenue East. Officers cleared a transient camp at Lawrence Park.

Police warned a man to stop going through a resident's yard on his way to meals at the Salvation Army. They also suggested that taking a cell phone from girls who left without paying for food at Finnegan's wasn't the best solution.

Threats at the Finish Line bar were reported.

It wasn't the lyrical way a man sang to himself at a picnic bench outside of Pizza Hut that prompted a complaint to police; it was how he threw trash in the street that disturbed a witness.
