Flathead Sheriff

| April 29, 2005 1:00 AM

Flathead Sheriff's Office was called Wednesday night to U.S. 93 near Lakeside, where a 19-year-old man called for help from 12 feet up a tree. He was fearful that people were after him and had a sense of foreboding. Somers fire department was asked to bring a ladder truck and Lakeside Quick Response Unit was notified. The man climbed down after his father arrived and they were referred to help.

Harassing calls were reported on Springcreek Drive.

Verbal disputes were reported on Wettington Drive and on Eagle Drive. In Evergreen, a resident complained about a neighbor who comes over to rattle a dog's cage.

On Montana 206 and U.S. 2, a shaggy man with a box that said "homeless" was reportedly rude and crude, yelling and making obscene gestures at people who stopped at the stop light and didn't give him money.
