Deputies from the Flathead County Sheriff's Office investigated criminal mischief after a resident of West Reserve Drive discovered all the tires on a vehicle flattened late Wednesday.

Neighbors got nasty with each other Wednesday evening at Ridgewood Terrace. One neighbor pounded on the other's window, then kicked the dog and threatened to kill the dog. Deputies separated the neighbors.

An overzealous workaholic kept the neighborhood awake on River Bend Road for several nights by operating equipment at 2 and 3 a.m. Deputies were asked to counsel the person.

Excitement erupted on Flathead Lake around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Hockaday Bay off Angel Point.

A caller notified dispatchers that a man on some type of small raft was having trouble just as a storm hit the lake. Emergency crews from the Somers Fire Department set out in a boat to find the person.

The search was called off after a witness reported seeing the man reach an island during the worst of the storm and then later left, heading for the West Shore State Park.

About the same time, a sailboat was reported capsized off Caroline Point on Flathead Lake. However, a nearby boater helped resolve the problem.

A man was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center this morning after a tree fell on him off Big Creek Road. He was in stable condition Thursday afternoon.
