A woman reported to Kalispell police Tuesday that her boyfriend's mother has been following her. The mother said she hasn't spoken to the girl since November and she has "no intention of getting along with her," but has not been following her. An officer counseled everyone involved.

A man was arrested for attempted arson after allegedly taking his girlfriend's clothes out to the yard on First Street East. He threatened to douse them with gas and burn them. Officers found him with a gas can, but the clothing was spared.

A car going 100 mph on U.S. 93 south of town passed between cars where there was no traffic lane, according to a witness.

It wasn't a Nebraska fugitive who is being sought by police at Tidyman's; it was a panhandler who moved on.
