The Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a report of a brown and gray 1986 Ford Ranger stolen from Christian Life Fellowship.

A deputy chatted with a mother after her young child was found wandering through the neighborhood on West Evergreen Drive. Another parent believed a deputy should talk to her 12-year-old daughter about what will happen if she doesn't start doing as she is told.

A man reportedly took a maroon 1988 Chevy Celebrity without permission. That's not all. A 20-day registration sticker on it reportedly belongs to another vehicle, plus the man is allegedly driving on a revoked license and has no insurance.

After an employee was hospitalized, a business owner went to pick one of the business vehicles used by the employee and found some bags with powder in them.

A lacquer pump was stolen from Aspen Court. A newspaper vending machine was stolen at Your Turn Gas and Deli. An ATV was stolen on Lost Prairie Road. Prescription drugs were stolen on Jellison Road.

Near Rose Crossing, some children who went to visit a friend were allegedly greeted by a neighbor of their friend with a gun on his hip and some expressions of thought about why they are not welcome there.

A man who set up a camp behind Cenex in Evergreen isn't welcome there. Some people in the parking lot at Canyon Elementary School yelled and swore at people going by. A transient in a straw hat and a plaid shirt begged from people who went by him at Blacktail Market. Another panhandler caused concern at Tri-City Quick Stop and a man sleeping on property on Stage Road was told to move along.

There wasn't as much hitting as first reported when a couple had a disagreement on U.S. 93 in Somers; it was just verbal. Another couple separated after some emotional messiness on Hellman Lane. A man reported that his girlfriend was ransacking a home on Gopher Lane and then ran into his pickup when she left. A custodial problem attracted a deputy to Kings Way Wednesday.

Wind knocked down some trees in Wednesday night's storm.
