Gaiser, Uibel triathlon champions

Scott Gaiser and Kayleen Uibel were the overall winners of the Whitefish Lake Triathlon held Sunday in Whitefish.

Gaiser completed the 1/2-mile swim in 13 minutes, 27 seconds; the 20K bike race in 33:23 and the 5K run in 17:52 for an overall time of 1:04:42.

Uibel did the swim in 14:09, the bike race in 36:43 and the run in 20:33 for a total time of 1:11:18.

Runners-up were Jeremy Oury, 1:06:24, and Danielle Gastineau, 1:16:24.
