A Kalispell woman who faces bad check charges - amid allegations that she and her husband defrauded employees, customers and creditors through a construction company called Keystone Contractors - posted bond and was released from custody Thursday.

Amy Ockey, 32, was released after her mother- and father-in-law posted a $150,000 property bond.

Ockey's husband, Richard, 32, is charged with felony theft and is still being held in the Flathead County jail.

District Judge Ted Lympus set conditions on the bond. Ockey must remain law abiding, she can't leave Flathead County without authorization, she can have no contact with state witnesses involved in her case, she cannot have access to checking or credit accounts, she cannot dispose of personal assets and she must live at her in-laws' home in the Lake Blaine area.

Ockey was charged with writing bad checks amounting to $151,500.

The Ockeys have been the subject of civil and criminal actions filed in connection with Keystone Contractors.

Customers say the Ockeys took their money but did not perform construction work that was contracted.

Some employees said the Ockey's payroll checks have bounced since mid-December. Subcontractors and suppliers say the Ockeys have not paid them for work that was completed or materials that were provided.
