Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a call Tuesday from a business on U.S. 93 in Lakeside where a twisted wordsmith has struck. Letters on a reader board have been rearranged to form obscene messages. The owner has brought the reader board inside after too many unauthorized late-night compositions with the letters.

A dog reportedly killed chickens on Sunnybrook Lane.

A threatening call was reported o Montana 40. A woman making a death threat was reported on Karrow Avenue.

On Holt Drive, a a garage door was kicked in and another door was left open after someone reportedly heisted a washer and dryer. A denim Woolrich jacket, a wallet and a cell phone were stolen at the Garden Bar. A purse reported stolen at a school in Evergreen was found. Identity theft was reported on Lakeshore Drive.

A man called to report a problem with his grown daughter Monday; he agreed to call back later when he was sober.

A report of a man biting a woman on the lip appeared to be unfounded.

On Caroline Road, someone kicked out the grille of a vehicle, took the battery, and yanked some wires. The owner has a suspect.
