Flathead County Sheriff's deputies investigated the theft of a motor from a boat docked at Foys Lake. The thief cut a chain to remove the motor.

Deputies responded to a call on Caribou Street Saturday afternoon. A man said that his neighbor's dog killed his dog and he threatened violence. Deputies picked up the dead dog. No arrests were made.

Deputies went to another disturbance Saturday on Mission Trail in which a 24-year-old was throwing her mother around in a dispute over her 5-year-old son. The woman left when deputies arrived.

A woman reported that her 16-year-old daughter was assaulted in the playground at West Valley School at about 2:25 a.m.

Deputies went to a residence on Big Mountain Road when an 8-year-old boy reported his dad was drunk and hitting his mother. Deputies separated the pair and transported the male to another address.

Residents on Fourth Street West in Hungry Horse found a smiley face drawn in blood in the snow on the driver's side of their car. They believe it is related to a dispute with a neighbor over a dog situation.
