Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested a man after a domestic disturbance was reported on Amtrak. On the way to jail, Charles Gipson, 53, of Chicago, reportedly bit a deputy and told him he has AIDS. He was charged with the felony crime of assault on an officer. It reportedly took four officers to subdue him.

Youths who tried to get on the roof of Evergreen elementary school were gone when a deputy arrived.

A video camera was reported stolen on Trumble Meadows Lane.

A resident on South Ferndale Drive arrived home to find a young intruder in his house. The boy reportedly said he was looking for a dog. The homeowner, described as "pretty irritated," tied up the youth until officers arrived. The matter was turned over to Lake County officials.

Illegal cutting is suspected on state land west of Kalispell.

Threatening calls were reported in Evergreen.

Residents in Forest Acres complied with their neighbor's wishes to turn down the music at about midnight Monday.

An animal warden was called about a stray dog that was terrorizing a Spotted Fawn Court woman and her dog. A dog was shot on Lost Creek Drive. Shooting at a dog was reported on Anderson Lane.

More than $8,000 worth of items were taken in a burglary from Stoneridge Development Center.

A report that a water system was tampered with is under investigation at Fox Hill Estates.

A resident on Willow Creek Trail reported that her wallet was stolen before Christmas and now someone is trying to get credit, using her identity.

A lock was jimmied on a garage in Hungry Horse. On Smith Lake Road, windows were broken in a home and tar was poured on the floor. A break-in was also reported at AAA Storage.

An unwelcome man was reported at a business in Marion.
