Kalispell police took reports of forged and counterfeited money orders received at two banks. Another bank in Evergreen reported the same problem.

After a report of a hit-and-run accident on East Idaho Street, a 17-year-old boy was charged with obstructing an officer. On Second Avenue East, a 16-year-old boy was charged with possession of alcohol after a fight.

An 11-year-old boy was found after his parents reported him missing Tuesday evening. He was taken home.

Two males reportedly assaulted a woman in the mall parking lot.

The first report was of a fire at Lone Pine. Then it was reported at St. Matthew's church. Eventually, it was found in a backyard on Second Avenue West, where firefighters advised someone burning grass to put out the fire.

Taken from a home on Kelly Road was a satellite receiver, golf clubs, shoes and a mini bike. A suspect was identified and the items were returned to their owner.

A black Labrador retriever cornered a postal carrier on Sixth Avenue West. An animal warden went to the rescue.

A man and a woman caused a disturbance at Red Eagle Aviation. Officers counseled two women after one complained about the other screaming at her at Cenex.

An unlocked car with $200 in a purse inside was an open invitation to an opportunist.
