Somers Fire Department went to a fire reported on Bald Mountain above Somers late Friday afternoon.

Kalispell fire and ambulance had eight calls. Friday morning a bicyclist was OK after being bumped by a car in Walgreen's parking lot, a call to Sizzler restaurant for chest pain four hours later resulted in treatment for a cut finger instead, and two men went to the hospital after inhaling carbon monoxide from a gas-powered saw they were operating indoors that afternoon.
