Kalispell police couldn't find two men who reportedly knocked on a door, saying they were Christians on a mission. The Yellowstone Street resident was suspicious because they didn't carry a Bible. Besides, the caller said, they were unshaven and unkempt.

A 7-year-old went missing at 4:30 Thursday afternoon, causing parental concern. By 6 p.m., they were reunited.

Police made an arrest for disorderly conduct at Linderman School Friday morning.

Police talked to an intoxicated pedestrian after getting a report of a staggering walker on First Avenue East.

A 42-year-old man at the mall discovered it's not a good idea to resist arrest. When he was arrested for that belligerence, he also was charged with having an open container, disorderly conduct and trespassing.

Somebody didn't like it when three kids, "all in hoodies," shined flashlights through windows in the alley behind the library Thursday night.

An intoxicated man got a chair in the police lobby for the night when he wasn't allowed back into the homeless shelter, but he had to leave the police station in the morning.

It was just before midnight when a man reported his girlfriend beat him up and trashed the house. He complained of arm and shoulder pain. She left.

Fighters in Fatt Boys' parking lot calmed down after police showed up, and went back inside the bar.

A man took his barking dog inside just before 5 a.m., but still got a police warning about the noisy pooch.

Mocha, the chocolate Lab puppy, was gone from its home on Woodland Avenue Thursday evening. It wore no collar.
