Stillwater gets regional accreditation

Stillwater Christian School received word that it now is regionally accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools.

The action came when the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools Commission on Schools met for its annual meeting in Las Vegas.

When it still was named Flathead Christian, the school first was accredited in 2002 with the Northwest Association. Its State Accreditation Committee also approved the status for 2004-05.

Stillwater is one of 1,715 schools in the region and one of more than 36,000 schools nationwide to maintain regional accreditation.
