Kenneth E. 'Kenny' Morrison, 84

Kenneth E. "Kenny" Morrison, 84, of Forsyth, passed away because of an aortic aneurysm June 28, 2005, surrounded by family in the Deaconess Billings Clinic.

He was born May 12, 1921, in Pawnee County, Kansas, the son of Shannon and Edith (HulIett) Morrison. Kenny was raised and educated in Kansas and New Mexico.

After his education, he began his career in carpentry and construction, living in several states and settling in Forsyth, in 1943.

On Dec. 6, 1946, Kenny was united in marriage to Helen Ennis in Forsyth. Together they made their home and raised their children in Forsyth. Kenny and Helen later divorced.

Kenny built and remodeled several homes in Forsyth and was also an intricate part of the construction of the Forsyth County Club as it is seen today. Kenny continued to work until his retirement in 1983.

On Nov. 18, 1987, Kenny was united in marriage to Lois "Dolly" Critelli in Forsyth.

He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, morning coffee with the crew and playing cards on stag night at the country club.

Kenny especially loved and enjoyed his children and grandchldren.

He is survived by his wife, Dolly, of Forsyth; his daughter, Linda and Allen Himsl of Kalispell; stepchildren, Colette Beierle of Grand Junction, Colo., Tim Critelli, Dennis and Charlene Critelli, James and Ginger Critelli, and Rene Critelli, all of Billings; daughter-in-law, Roma Byerly, of Bozeman; three brothers, Robert, Cecil and Chester Morrison; and two sisters, Ina Mae Zeiders and Margaret Potter. He also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Helen; two children, Larry Morrison and Gordon Byerly; and two brothers, Marvin and Eldon Morrison.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, July 2, at Immaculate Conception Church in Forsyth.

Burial will be in the family lot of the Forsyth Cemetery.
