The Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a report from a Columbia Falls-area resident who said food was stolen from her house and she suspects the baby sitter.

On Lake Blaine Drive, a woman reportedly grabbed another woman's face, raised her hand to slap her and threatened to take her infant daughter. In Hungry Horse, a woman said her mother took her 5-year-old son and refuses to give him back.

The driver of an old two-door hatchback with Lake County plates reportedly tried to run someone off the highway and threw a bottle at the other driver's truck.

Locks were broken off doors to a building on Meadowlark Drive, where items were taken.

Harassing calls were a problem on Clark Drive. Neighbors who unchain a dog are a problem on Somers Road. A woman reported that her in-laws are driving by her house and trying to call her.

A business reported an internal theft of money with an employee caught on film.

In Hungry Horse, a man reportedly threatened another man with a gun with the command to "shut up or he was going to blow his brains out." The matter is under investigation.

An animal warden was notified of a black bear on Trap Road.

Men at Marina Cay got into an argument with a bartender, and their credit card was rejected on a boat rental. Neither infraction was thought to be criminal.

An incident on Conn Road involved a push and a person who identified himself as a process server. A dog reportedly was shot on Martini Lane.

People party, leave beer cans and damage a cabin on Whitefish Lake property. On Antler Ridge Road near Whitefish, a resident was dismayed to find a couple naked in the back of their truck on her property. On Tamarack Woods, a resident complained of a neighbor who keeps spraying weed killer in the resident's yard. Maybe the neighbor was trying to prevent the problem that occurred behind Conlins, where two unwelcome transients sleep in weeds.

A stereo was stolen from a vehicle on Stage Ridge Road. Medication was stolen from the South Fork area.

Someone is using a man's checks without his permission. A woman said a man for whom her husband used to work took the keys to her vehicle.

A person who was vomiting at Depot Park also went to the hospital.
