Kalispell police

Kalispell police took about a dozen reports of vandalism Friday after graffiti was painted on buildings downtown. Among the victims were the high school, the Hockaday Center for the Arts, Bresnan Communications, the Red Cross, Glory Days Emporium, two churches, a theater, a law firm, a linen company, the library and a garage.

Police are investigating a woman's report that she was jumped by a group of people at 2 a.m. Friday.

Harassing neighbors were reported on Fifth Avenue East.

On Sixth Street West, a brazen burglar reportedly broke in while a resident was asleep. A resident on Fifth Avenue West had the opposite problem when a man was found sleeping in the yard.

A woman said her boyfriend hit her. Two men were arrested for disorderly conduct after a fight at Fatt Boys parking lot. A man was arrested for obstructing an officer who was at Finnegan's for a complaint about people refusing to pay for their food.

Residents complained about noise from dogs, a useless muffler and a helicopter. At Elks Lodge RV Park, alcohol drove a man to knock on the doors of RVs where people were trying to sleep.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle at the post office on Meridian Road. A camera was stolen from a vehicle at Woodland Park.
