Flathead County Sheriff's Office sorted through allegations of reckless driving, trespassing, and threats passed between neighbors in Kila. A deputy counseled everyone. Another report of poorly driving neighbors was made on North Cedar Drive. A resident on Lower Valley Road is tired of neighbor kids coming onto the property late at night, where she can see them with flashlights.

Officers couldn't find the kids who were reportedly throwing firecrackers at vehicles from a Coram porch, but they did find three small boys throwing rocks at a mud puddle.

Someone stole heavy machinery over the weekend from Montana Stone and parked it on a portable toilet at McGregor Lake. The toilet was demolished.

A global-positioning system and hand gun were stolen on Beaver Lake Road. A theft was reported at the airport. A video camera was stolen from a vehicle at Foy's Lake. Keys and camp chairs vanished from a truck at Half Moon Lake. A tee sign was stolen at Meadow Lake Golf Course. A woman decided to keep a landscaper's saw when she wasn't happy with the work done on Political Hill Road; a deputy suggested alternative ways to solve the problem.

An animal warden was notified of a bear and two cubs on South Fork Road. The mother bear tore up a fence.

A domestic problem was reported on Ridgewood Drive.

There were two people inside the black 2004 Hyundai Elantra that reportedly tried to run over someone on a bike on Montana 35.

A resident on Valley Drive learned that he needs a permit to burn trash in 55-gallon barrels. A resident on Solberg Drive complained of noise from horseshoes Monday night. A bell-jingling noise came from a young person on a bike after midnight in Hungry Horse, where he kept going in and out of a ditch and over a guardrail.

A man taunted dogs that were tied to a camper in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Windshields and mailboxes were smashed.

Three teenagers caught breaking into a stone quarry on Lost Prairie Road dropped their tools and ran.

Boaters got turned around after putting in at Leisure Island; help was dispatched.

There were several complaints of transient hijinks near Wal-Mart.
