Threatening and harassing phone calls were all the rage, according to the Kalispell Police Department log.

A woman reported that her soon-to-be ex-husband threatened to kick her butt if she doesn't sign divorce papers. A harassing phone caller was warned by police to forget the phone number at Lambert Court that he keeps calling. More harassing calls were reported by a woman who said another woman keeps calling. Same situation on Second Avenue West.

A woman said another woman was outside, threatening to kill her, but she didn't want to look out the window to see her tormentor. Police found the story unlikely, since the woman's mother was home and didn't hear anything, and the woman seemed to be drinking a little too much.

A missing 7-year-old girl on Airport Road was found, safe.

DVDs were stolen from a home on Fourth Avenue West. A hammock was removed from a back yard on Second Avenue East.

A man said he was jumped by people in Lawrence Park.

On Liberty Street, a man reported that an angry woman damaged his door.

A fight reported in the Albertsons parking lot turned out to be a verbal disagreement.

A skateboarder at Petco was told to get lost but didn't until just before officers arrived.

A resident on Seventh Street East learned that it's illegal to shoot squirrels, but the news came too late for one squirrel.

Residents on Fifth Avenue East and Liberty Street had a hard time getting unwelcome people to leave their houses.

Officers checked out a report that a chocolate Lab left in a truck on Glenwood Drive was in heat distress. The owner couldn't be found. The dog was freed from the vehicle and was taken to the animal shelter.
