Flathead County Sheriff's Office was called Tuesday evening about harassment at Lion Lake. One man said he was threatened by another. The cause: Their fishing lines crossed. More hostilities were reported on Fern Lake.

Water worries also concerned people in a boat stranded on Flathead Lake, but they were able to return safely to a boat launch. Also, a worried wife reported an overdue boater on Whitefish Lake, but he turned out to be fine.

Back on land, a deputy found a truck that was stolen in Hungry Horse. A domestic assault was linked to the theft. A windshield was broken after an argument in Bigfork, and a vehicle minding its own business on Sweetgrass Lane was violated with a beer bottle through the windshield.

A fight was reported in Hungry Horse - a popular place Tuesday night. People involved were separated.

Two swift and thirsty thieves stole two 30-packs of beer at a convenience store in Evergreen.

A man trying to dial without his glasses accidentally contacted 911 at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Poor driving and noise complaints were abundant, including from a resident who wanted the chainsaw noise to stop on, ironically, Peaceful Drive.

A deputy was called for help in a disagreement between a 17-year-old girl and her parents on Electric Avenue. An employer on U.S. 2 west of Kalispell asked for extra patrol after firing an employee who made threats. Threats were also made at a business on U.S. 2 near Columbia Falls.

A teenage boy was released to his parents after vandalism at Big Mountain. Five males in a white truck tried to "start something" on Canyon Road in Hungry Horse, but couldn't generate any interest. Young bucks also trespassed on property on Antler Ridge Road. An unwelcome man who has been told to stay out of a Hungry Horse store returned anyway. Youths are suspected as the destroyers of sprinkler system on Pioneer Road. They reportedly used fireworks to do it.

A camera, lens, and wallet were taken from a vehicle at Spruce Park Campground. Money and a cell phone were stolen from a mobile-home court in Evergreen. A business owner reported a significant theft of merchandise. Mail theft is suspected on Park Drive, where a lawn ornament also disappeared. Money was stolen from a checkbook on One Way Road. Flower baskets were reported stolen on Electric Avenue.

A woman made a pre-emptive call to authorities, saying she had put her nephew in a choke hold. She said he was being rude to her and her daughter and wouldn't leave their home. She wanted it on record in case he files a complaint.

Someone accused a business of deceptive practices, air-quality violations, improper waste dumping and covenants violations. The complaint was referred to the health department.

Former renters reportedly damaged property in Hungry Horse and took appliances and other items when they left.

A 2-year-old girl found walking on Conn Road was reunited with her mother.

Kids threw rocks at cars on U.S. 2.
