Joyce E. (Kirk) Buscho, 71

Joyce E. (Kirk) Buscho, 71, of Applegate, Ore., formerly of Kalispell, died Saturday, July, 2, 2005, at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Ore., of heart f+ailure.

Joyce was born in Kalispell on Oct. 8, 1933, to Arthur E. and Edna Kirk. She grew up in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead County High School in 1951.

On Oct. 4, 1952, she married Warren R. Buscho, who survives her. They moved to San Jose, Calif., where they raised their sons.

She was a homemaker most of her life and raised more than 10 children in addition to her own sons.

In 1978, she and her husband moved to Applegate, Ore. Joyce enjoyed her family and was one of the founding members of the Ritzman Family Reunion.

In addition to her husband, survivors include her sons, Brad of Bridgeport, Calif., Larry of Danville, Colo., and Greg of Atascadero, Calif.; a brother, Bob Kirk of Kalispell; four grandchildren, Jeoffery Buscho, Justin Buscho, and Heather and Leah Buscho; and nieces and nephews, Lou Ann Hansen of Missoula, Patty Jo Heldstab of Columbia Falls, Dee Boon of Somers, Karla Crosbie of Caron, Saskatchewan, Barb Kirk of Kalispell, Tim Kirk of Missoula, Jan Carter of Denton, Dee Peck of Bigfork, Linda Anderson of Billings, Mike Kirk of Kalispell, and Jim Kirk of Denver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ernie and Ed Kirk; and one sister, Patsy Kirk.

A memorial service was held on July 9 in Grants Pass, Ore., at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors, with Pastor Ken Bern officiating.
