Flathead County Sheriff's Office arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl.

The entire dashboard was taken from a vehicle that broke down on Truman Creek Road. A vehicle window was smashed at Four Corners Town Pump. An address was found on mail in some of the garbage dumped on Tamarack Lane and the dumper went back to clean it up. An excavator window was broken and a CD player was stolen from the county landfill. Mail was stolen from Blankenship Road. There was vandalism and orange cones were stolen from a construction company. A suspected break-in was reported at Mountain Towing.

A woman believes someone fired a shot at her, north of Polebridge, on Wednesday.

A woman reported harassing and threatening phone calls. A man who sold a car years ago is now allegedly threatening the purchaser because he wants it back. A resident on Wilson Heights Road reported that neighbors intentionally rammed his mailbox with a four-wheeler, but then admitted he really doesn't know what happened to it. Screaming and hollering in a Lower Valley Road house caused a disturbance.

Parents on Coram Stage Road were warned to not let their children play on the roadway. A girl on U.S. 93 near Whitefish was taken into custody after she reportedly kicked her mother and her parents lost control off her.

The obscene gesture, shaking fist, and challenge to pull over intimidated one driver on Montana 206 after he passed another driver.

A deputy couldn't find the teenagers who allegedly tore everything out of a vehicle in Hungry Horse that belonged to an owner who died a year ago.

A man was seen on Cottonwood Drive, lying on the side of the road with his head in the driving lane, smoking a cigarette.

A witness was concerned about activity at an Evergreen residence, where three men seemed to hold down another one and beat him. It turned out to be the kind of wrestling among friends that follows drinking. A parent called authorities to report that a boy named Alex hit his son in the head and hand with a stick about three days ago.

Two pit bulls attacked a cat in Coram.

A man was arrested on Grand Drive after reportedly harassing his ex-girlfriend's family. A woman reported that her husband hit her in the nose and eyes on Airport Road. It was a woman causing trouble at bar on Montana 35, where she reportedly pushed customers and gestured in an unfriendly way at the bartender after midnight. A girl reported that her stepsister's boyfriend threw things at her head and broke things in the house. Creston fire department took her to the hospital for treatment of a head bump.

A vehicle on Leland's Honda was broken into during the wee hours. For some reason, there was a witness watching from nearby bushes who called the sheriff's office. It was at about 2 a.m. when four or five early teens stole wood at Glacier Center Exxon, but dropped it in their haste to flee.

A man reported that another man tried to steal his car. A fight ensued. One man reportedly slugged the car owner's brother. He went to the hospital and a man was arrested.
