Kalispell police arrested a man at 1 a.m. Sunday, when a woman on Ninth Avenue West called to say there was a man with a gun in her yard, threatening to kill someone. He had apparently had an altercation with someone camping and had followed the camper back to town. He was charged with burglary and is being held on a federal warrant also.

Thefts from vehicles were reported on Fourth, Third and Second Avenue East. A break-in to a house was reported on Third Street West.

A woman's young children returned to her on Greatview Drive after she reported them missing.

An 11-year-old boy was charged with vandalizing siding on Third Avenue West North. A 19-year-old man was charged with vandalism on 10th Avenue West.

There were multiple complaints about live music Saturday night near the Salvation Army. The band didn't play on after officers arrived.

Someone reported seeing a man assault a girl in a truck on Third Avenue West. The 16-year-old girl was arrested for possessing alcohol, for resisting arrested and for obstructing an officer when she refused to cooperate.

A man in an older Cadillac convertible responded to complaints about his driving by winging a beer bottle at the witness. A second complaint was lodged by someone else who saw the man fling a bottle.

Teens were seen hiding behind bushes at Peterson School at 1 a.m. Sunday. Kids with spray paint were reported on Seventh Avenue West. A prowler was reported at Canvasback Court.

Three crying girls appeared at a home on U.S. 93 north, saying their father had hurt their mother. An officer couldn't find anything at their home to verify their story, though. There was also no credence to a report of a half-dozen people fighting outside of Finnegan's, where a group of friends was found.

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct at the entry of Rails to Trails on Meridian Road.
