Kalispell police arrested a 16-year-old girl at Staples on charges of possessing alcohol.

A man was deemed a suspicious character by a clerk at Movie Gallery who thought his half-hour stroll around the store was more likely loitering than pondering what film to rent.

A neighbor in a shouting match with another resident on Two Mile Drive worked herself into a frenzy from the argument. She requested medical attention for difficulty breathing.

A Woodland Avenue resident reported that a man she knew only as an acquaintance entered her home after she didn't answer the door.

Drink and be merry, or at least troublesome. That seemed to be the motto of some local men. A man was arrested in Woodland Park after a caller said he was drunk. A 58-year-old man was arrested behind Smith's on charges of open container violation.

A Kelly road resident reported a suspected fraudulent check that came in the mail from Nigeria. Also in the mail, but not suspected as fraudulent, was hate mail directed at a Second Avenue West resident's dogs.
