Motoryclist killed

A 22-year old Whitefish man was killed early Saturday morning in a single-motorcycle accident on U.S. 93, north of Majestic Valley Arena.

Lucas James Floren was pronounced dead at the scene. Flathead County Undersheriff and Deputy Coroner Mike Meehan said Floren was not wearing a helmet and that speed was a contributing factor in the accident.
