Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a call from a man in a wheelchair at the Rainbow bar Tuesday night who threatened to wheel out onto the middle of the highway because a taxi refused to take him to a homeless shelter. The taxi company explained that they had had problems with him and refuse to take him anywhere. An officer delivered him instead.

Concern was reported for a man who hasn't been heard from since he boarded a train in Whitefish on May 5. He is listed as missing in Washington.The window was shot out of a camper on Trumble Creek Road.

A child, age 10-12, was reported in traffic at the intersection of West Reserve Drive and U.S. 93 Tuesday. West Valley fire department and an ambulance from Kalispell Fire Department were called when the boy was seen lying in highway. He was unhurt.

A woman was arrested for partner assault on KM Ranch Road Wednesday afternoon. A report of someone attacking two people in Martin City prompted notification of ALERT helicopter, Canyon Quick Response Unit, Martin City fire department, Columbia Falls ambulance, and deputies. Ultimately, the alleged victims couldn't be found and no charges were filed.

Deputies were called three times to Stag Lane for a domestic problem. After midnight on Wednesday, a man reportedly shut off power to the home and called repeatedly. There was a complaint of trespassing there later in the day, and an earlier report of a disturbance on Tuesday.

A report of a sexual assault on a child is under investigation.

A bone found at Whitefish Lake will go to the state crime lab for analysis.

A girl on her way home from school was reportedly chased and harassed by other children in Evergreen.

That couple on Harmony Road wasn't having sex in the yard, as a citizen reported. They were just talking up close.

Three boys couldn't be found after a report that they were shooting baby ducks with a pellet gun.

A son reportedly made a threatening call. A 6-year-old boy who was reported out of control on Parklane Drive promised officers he would behave. A woman called another woman and promised to beat her up. In other news of promises made, a couple who battled on Mountain Avenue in Hungry Horse agreed to separate to the ends of their home for the night.

On Karrow Avenue, a man who believes his wife is having an Internet affair flung furniture until he was arrested.
