Flathead County Sheriff's Office deputies investigated a complaint from a resident on Park Lane Drive who claimed that Federal Express claimed to have delivered his wife's medication but she had received nothing.

Deputies investigated an intrusion on Essex Place in which a burglar lost his shirt and the home owner lost nothing.

The owner apparently returned home to find the screen door ajar and a man's shirt just inside. Nothing appeared to be missing.

The owner of a cabin on Bitterroot Lake was not as lucky. A thief cut the padlock on the cabin and took out the wood stove, damaging the roof in the process.

Another thief apparently took a joy ride on a lawn mower to the Deerlick Saloon on Monday. The mower was taken from the Montana Fur Trading Co. and was discovered 100 yards from the saloon.

A unique case of road rage was reported in the Polebridge area: One neighbor grabbed and detained the other after a confrontation over the widening of an access road in conflict with subdivision covenants.

In another road row, a resident of Wild Goose Lane complained to deputies that his neighbor took the gravel off his easement. Now he can't drive on it.

Deputies responded to a report that pit bulls attacked children at a trailer court on Cedar Drive. The dogs ripped the children's clothes, then ran away.

Flooding was reported on Emmons and Hemler creeks when a culvert failed.

A small boat was spotted in distress late Sunday south of Woods Bay on Flathead Lake. Rescuers found no one on board. The owner was contacted and told deputies the boat was stolen.

Deputies received a series of calls about downed power lines and trees and flying debris during the Sunday storm.
