Kalispell police arrested a man, 24, on suspicion of assault with a weapon late Friday after the man allegedly pulled a pistol and threatened a construction supervisor at a site on Appleway Drive. Police say the man, who may have been a disgruntled former employee, was disarmed and restrained by construction workers until officers arrived.

Police responded to a disturbance involving a son who is on house arrest and was breaking things at residence on the 1000 block of First Avenue East.

There was a complaint of people "mud bogging" in vacant lots near Harlequin Court.

On Thursday, a burglary was reported at a home on the 400 block of Fifth Street West. Cigarettes were missing along with $50, and the person who reported the theft said that the channel on the television set had been changed and the perpetrator had left an unfinished cup of cocoa behind.
