A report of a boat-sinking on Whitefish Lake Saturday evening turned out to be more like the saga of the sinking engine. Flathead County Sheriff's Office, Office of Emergency Services, Whitefish fire department and fish & game all responded, only to find that the boat had already been dragged to shore, waterlogged engine notwithstanding. The boat'd5s owner had apparently taken a dinner break in the middle of the action and was unreachable by phone.

A boy was seen 'd1 they're always seen, right? 'd1 mooning his neighbors on First Avenue North in Hungry Horse. Unable to locate the young exhibitionist, an officer left his card, along with the strong suggestion that he be called ASAP.

Multiple shots were heard Saturday afternoon off Skookum Road. Officers found that the shooting had been carried out in a safe manner.

A man reported his girlfriend was trying to beat him up behind the Blue Moon early Sunday morning.

A fight involving 15 men 'd1 and four bouncers finally got resolved out on the street in front of the Garden Bar in Bigfork early Sunday morning.
