Kalispell police

A man found an unwelcome guest sleeping in the living room of his home on the 400 block of Third Avenue West at about 2:40 a.m. Monday. The sleeping man appeared to be intoxicated and refused to leave. When Kalispell police arrived, the man, 21, was arrested on outstandng warrants.

There were a series of reports involving vehicles with slashed tires Monday morning. Two vehicles were slashed on the 400 block of Fifth Avenue West, and two more were slashed just a few houses away. Tires were slashed on a vehicle on the 800 block of Eighth Avenue West and on a vehicle parked near the Les Schwab tire store on Center Street.

A paint sprayer was reported stolen from a construction site on Vista Loop.

A sheet rock lift and a power saw were reported stolen from another construction site on Windriver Drive.

Softball equipment was reportedly stolen from a van parked on the 100 block of Third Avenue East.

Late Sunday, there was a report of an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance at Fat Boys on U.S. 2 West of Kalispell. The situation broke up by the time officers arrived.
