Kalispell police were called to Depot Park on Wednesday when a transient was sleeping so hard beneath a tree that his pants fell down.

Another man decided bags of water-softener salt at Albertsons would be a good place to stretch out. He left, but reappeared later at Pathway's Treatment Center, where he lingered in a hat and tool belt.

Three tires were slashed on a vehicle on Ninth Avenue West on Sunday night. It was reported to police Tuesday. Someone spray-painted, unartfully, at the Hockaday Center.

A blanket was taken from a vehicle at Tidyman's, and the driver's door was damaged.

Someone tried to break into the bedroom window of a home on Two Mile Drive, damaging a screen and a bush. A man was arrested after a report at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday that he stole a bike and was breaking into cars. A man reportedly tried to break into an apartment on Second Street West.

A man found sleeping in a yard on Seventh Street got a ride to the hospital. A man reported on the ground at Fatt Boys was gone when police and an ambulance arrived. A man punched the mirror on a vehicle at Fatt Boys and broke it and then ran away. More running near Fatt Boys resulted in a couple of people arrested for underage alcohol possession.

A 2-year-old son was lost and found on Third Avenue West. A similar-age child caused concern by playing in the street on Third Avenue West North.

A large group of people chased a car on Main Street and shouted obscenities at the driver. A man said two young men in a gray Toyota truck, with a four-wheeler in the back, tried to run him over on Second Avenue West North.

Threats were shouted on Teal Drive. Noise was a problem at 2 a.m. on Liberty Street.
