Kalispell police

Kalispell police investigated a digital camera stolen from an antiques store on Sixth Avenue West North. The owner gave a description of two men in their 20s.

Deputies were notified that a representative of a mortgage company found five or six dogs in cages and one dog loose in a bedroom of a foreclosed house on Fourth Avenue West. The owners had left the dogs and moved to California.

A caller informed police that dump trucks still were running the stop sign at Stillwater and Reserve, where a 16-year-old was killed recently when a dump truck ran the sign and collided with her car. An officer spoke with the construction companies.

A woman was arrested for driving while under the influence early Wednesday morning at Three Mile Drive and Meridian.

A neighbor of a resident on Ninth Avenue West complained that it sounded as if someone were running a lawn mower at 2:22 a.m. Officers found a person rototilling his garden. He agreed to stop for the night.

Grizzly Security notified police of an apparent fight in front of Scotty's bar, where two people were rolling around on the ground. Officers found one injured person who said he fell and refused medical help.

Late Tuesday evening, a concerned resident called police after seeing a man in a yellow raincoat crash his bike at Main and Second Street. Officers found he had been drinking and, apparently feeling no pain, refused medical assistance.

Also Tuesday, two teenage boys and a girl vandalized a garbage can at Woodland Park.

A 16-year-old was arrested after an accident Tuesday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence, no insurance and failure to notify law enforcement by the quickest means.

Another 16-year-old was charged with possession of alcohol or an intoxicant.
