Deputy County Attorney Lori Adams has pleaded guilty to DUI stemming from a vehicle accident the weekend of Feb. 26-27.

No one was hurt when Adams reportedly rolled her vehicle west of Kalispell.

County Attorney Ed Corrigan said Adams made no excuses and asked for no preferential treatment, and will be granted none.

"Had she done otherwise, then perhaps things would have gone differently for her in terms of continued employment," Corrigan said.

As it is, there will be internal sanctions that he is unable to discuss as a personnel issue, Corrigan said. Adams will no longer prosecute DUI cases; that will continue indefinitely.

Adams was reportedly alone and seat-belted in her vehicle during the accident. Her blood-alcohol level tested at about .10, over the legal limit of .08.

Adams said Wednesday her actions were "a mistake, bad judgment."

The accident was investigated by the Montana Highway Patrol.
