Easter egg hunts abound this weekend

If you're hunting for some Easter fun this weekend here's where the eggs are:

Saturday

The Dandy Dudes and Dolls 4-H Club plays host to an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. at Cayuse Prairie School. Children 10 and under are invited to attend.

Harvest Baptist Church sponsors an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. at Stillwater Christian School, 1251 Willow Glen Dr. in Kalispell. Church services will be at 10:30 a.m. Easter Sunday at the school.

The Kalispell Center Mall holds an EGGstravaganza Easter Carnival at noon. Youths 15 and younger are invited to play games. Entertainment and crafts that will be set up throughout the mall including a pinata, golf, ring-toss, a sucker-pull and much more. Prizes will be awarded. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos.

The Mountain Mall in Whitefish sponsors its annual Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m. . Over 40,000 eggs and over 100 prizes are up for grabs. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday

The town of Creston invites all children to an Easter egg hunt next to the Creston School at 10:15 a.m. Prizes will be awarded.

The Columbia Falls Lions Club will sponsor what has become a family tradition for many - the annual Easter egg hunt.

Weather permitting, it begins at 1 p.m. sharp and is for children ages 12 and younger, divided into four age categories, and will be held in Marantette Park. The four age groups will be segregated, with first, second and third prizes awarded in each category. Wrapped candy will be hidden for the hundreds of hunters to find.

Blacktail Mountain Snowsports School will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday in Powder Playground at the top of the mountain. The hunt begins at 1 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend the festivities.

Big Mountain Resort invites children up to the mountain for Easter egg hunts. At 1 p.m. Children 6 and under will meet at the fire pit; and at 1:30 kids 7 and older will start hunting. Grand prize is a 2005-2006 season pass.

The Kalispell Elks Lodge No. 725 is sponsoring its annual Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. at the Kalispell Lions Park across from the Elks Lodge on U.S. 93 South. Fun and prizes, two divisions.
