Charles 'Doc' Graham

Charles 'Doc' Graham died April 27, 2005, at the Sanders County Hospital in Plains.

Charles was born in 1927, in Highmore, S.D., the son of Stuart and Margaret Graham. He met and married Patti Loudenback and then received a Doctor of Optometry degree. The couple move to Whitefish where they set up practice as well as raising two children, Heather and Ian.

Doc enjoyed many outdoor activities and was an avid golfer, fisherman, and loved his goose hunts.

After his retirement he traveled and lived in many places from Noxon to North Dakota, and most recently in Hot Springs. Everywhere he lived he made lifelong friends, who will miss him.

He was preceded by his parents; a wife, Patti; and a daughter, Heather.

He is survived by a sister, Barbara; a son, Ian; grandchildren, Megan, Morgan, Stuart; and a great-grandson, Cameron.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 6, at the Austin Funeral Home in Whitefish with Rev. David V. Kauffman officiating.
