Columbia Falls police arrested a 24-year-old man for his second DUI Thursday night.

Cars on First Avenue West were broken into Wednesday. A man reported more than $2,000 was taken from his bank account.

Power was lost at City Hall when a transformer blew Thursday afternoon. Columbia Falls fire department checked out a report of a smoke smell at the library Thursday.

A semi truck backed into a vehicle at Town Pump, injuring the woman in the vehicle.

Kalispell fire department had 12 calls. One was to a vehicle accident on Rocky Cliff and U.S. 93. A 6-year-old boy with minor injuries went to the hospital. A diesel spill on Main Street needed attention. A 48-year-old man went to the hospital with minor injuries from a rollover on Conrad Drive; Evergreen fire department was there, too. No one was seriously hurt in another rollover on Montana 26, but Creston fire department and highway patrol were also ready to help. Another accident was reported near the fairgrounds. A crash on West Reserve Drive Thursday afternoon didn't hurt anyone. Evergreen fire department also responded.
