Heather Dawn Lewis, 26

Heather Dawn Lewis, 26, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2005, in Seattle after complications from her bone marrow transplant. She was born on June 9, 1978, in Great Falls, the daughter of Charles and Debbie (Allen) Lewis.

She moved to Kalispell in 1981. She attended schools in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead County High School in 1997. She worked for the WestCoast Motel for four years and was working at the Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell at the time of her untimely death.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lewis.

She is survived by her mother, Debbie Maze and her husband, Harvey, of Kalispell; a brother, Tim Hatlen, of Kalispell; maternal grandparents, Linda Allen of Kalispell, and Jon Allen of Ohio; paternal grandparents, Charles and Dale Lewis of Great Falls; three half brothers, Ted Lewis of Seattle; and Tom Lewis and Brad Lewis of Great Falls; a half sister, Melissa Lewis, of Great Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Heather Lewis will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Epworth United Methodist Church. Visitation will be today, from noon until 6 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary. Burial will follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests that any memorial contributions be sent to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, 825 Eastlake Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98109.
