Flathead County Sheriff's Office was summoned Thursday by a Lower Valley Road resident who discovered someone had buried something in his field and erected a wooden cross. A deputy learned that a neighbor had buried a dog there and the property owner agreed to let it rest in peace where it was.

Disturbances were reported on Parliament Drive and on Stag Lane. Threats were reported on Mountain Avenue in Columbia Heights.

A prowler was reported on Kings Way. Another suspected prowler on Second Avenue South in Hungry Horse was probably just animals making noise, a deputy decided.

A woman went to the hospital with a head injury after an alleged domestic assault on Lower Valley Road.

Forgery was reported by a bar. An reported Internet scam is under investigation.

A rock slide ambushed a vehicle on Bierney Creek Road. No one was hurt.

After she had trouble keeping her vehicle on the road on West Valley Drive, a woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

A car stereo was stolen on Middle Road.

After a report of a reckless driver near Lone Pine, a man was arrested on that charge and on a warrant. A woman with him was charged with urinating on the deck at the visitor center.

A 911 hang-up call led to a man being arrested for partner assault on Hodgson Road.

Several people reported shooting near Lone Pine.
