Sheriff'd5s officers and

f0b Bigfork fire department

f1b0 answered a disturbance call Saturday night at a bar in Bigfork. A fight between two men was interrupted when the parties were separated.

There was a power outage in the area of U.S. 93 South near Mission View Terrace.

A man tried to pass a $20 counterfeit bill early Sunday morning at a gas station on U.S. 2 East. The fake was caught with a detector pen and when the clerk questioned the man about it, he said he had gotten it from someone in Missoula. The clerk said the bill was a pretty obvious phony because, among other fatal flaws, the image was off-center. The suspect snatched the bill back, paid for his stuff with a different $20 bill and took off for, yes, Missoula.

There was a report of criminal mischief at the Ferndale airport. Someone drove on the airstrip and ripped up sod.

In airport news of a different nature, an unwanted subject in a wrinkled cowboy hat was reported panhandling outside the terminal at Glacier Park International Airport. Security officers there wanted the man checked out because he had possibly been doing drugs while flying. The suspect moved on. On foot.
