Flathead County Sheriff s Office took a report Wednesday afternoon about a man who allegedly drove recklessly on U.S. 93 and then slammed on his brakes and made threatening gestures at another driver. Later, the same man reportedly scuffled with his father at home.

A parent called for help when her son refused to get into her car on Twin Acres Drive. Another parent on Maple Drive had the opposite problem; the girl locked herself in a friend s car and wouldn t come out.

A transient picked property on Martin City Loop Road as a campsite. He ll be roused from there when he returns to it. A woman found sleeping on the side of U.S. 2 near Coram is a missionary without funds for a motel room. A Bible camp put her up for the night.

A backhoe was damaged in Hungry Horse near Canyon Elementary School.

A man is causing concern by spending time at Deer Park School and following kids home in his red Dodge extended-cab truck.

A Tamarack Lane resident complained that a business dumped water in the ditch and believes that contaminated a well.

Strange, granular pellets were found on the lawn on Plantation Drive, where unsuspecting residents apparently had been visited by the Fertilizer Fairy.
