Kalispell police spent much of their time dealing with civility issues. Two boys repeatedly beat a goose with a stick at Woodland Park. Two girls screamed obscenities at another girl on Buffalo Stage Road and said they want to beat her up. A woman decided Smith s would be a good place to show off her vocal power. A woman said another woman spit on her at the Blue & White Motel. A previously screaming couple had gone mute when officers arrived at the Eldorita Apartments. A man employing loud profanity at a pay phone on First Avenue East was warned to mind his manners.

A missing 7-year-old boy had decided to go to a friend s house after school and was found to be safe there.

A resident took a call about a suspected scam involving unclaimed prizes.

A witness saw a vehicle at the mall burglarized. A purse was reportedly stolen from a porch Wednesday night. Movies and change are missing from a home on Eighth Avenue West. A billfold was taken from a vehicle at Immanuel Lutheran Home.

A woman was arrested for DUI and felony endangerment after a near accident on Whitefish Stage Road.
