Cherry Fest planned at Yellow Bay

Yellow Bay Community Club, mile marker 18 on Montana 35, hosts the Flathead Cherry Fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.

Crafts, a bake sale, door prizes and raffle tickets are part of the activities. The Montana Old Time Fiddlers will perform from 1-4 p.m. Call Jackie at 982-3839.

Library presents show on dyslexia

The Flathead County Library in Kalispell invites the public to a free video presentation and discussion on "The Gift of Dyslexia" by Davis Dyslexia Association International, today at 2:30 p.m. Call Katie Boyes at 758-5713.

Hula school stages annual show

The Ka Waikahe Hula School presents its 12th annual May Hula Show at 6 o'clock tonight at the Stillwater Christian School in Kalispell.

A silent auction will be held during the evening and Polynesian goods will be for sale. Refreshments will be available.

Museum seeks help with cleanup day

The Northwest Montana Historical Society invites members and friends to help spruce up the Museum at Central School on Sunday at Spring Cleaning Day from 1 to 4 p.m.

Beverages and snacks will be available. The museum relies heavily on volunteer support.

Spay clinic holds open house

The public is invited to an open house at the Flathead Spay & Neuter Clinic on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Tour the clinic and meet the cats up for adoption at the Cat Adoption Center.

The Flathead Spay & Neuter Task Force provides low-cost surgeries for dogs and cats of low-income pet owners, and spays or neuters nearly 1,800 animals each year.

Refreshments will be served.
