Alarms

Kalispell fire department had nine calls. One was to North Meridian Road for a traffic accident that sent a woman with back pain to the hospital on Monday evening. Burned food activated a fire alarm on Fourth Avenue East at 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish fire department checked out a substance spill on U.S. 93 near the old Denny's restaurant.

Smith Valley fire department was needed at a transformer fire on U.S. 2 at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
