Paulson, Dubuque cruise at divisional

Top seeds Danni Paulson of Whitefish and Brian Dubuque of Polson cruised to easy victories Thursday in singles play at the Class A divisional tennis tournament.
Paulson crushed Emily Kroll of Libby 6-0, 6-0 while Dubuque dominated Zach Ercanbrack of Libby, 6-1, 6-1.
Both players had opening-round byes.
The other top singles seeds for boys - Frederick VonSchweinitz of Columbia Falls, Izaak Opatz of Whitefish and Brian Kehn of Libby - and girls - Taylor Beach of Whitefish, Jen Orchard of Polson and Emily Emmert of Columbia Falls - all advanced.
Play resumes today with singles and doubles at the courts at Flathead Valley Community College and The Glacier Tennis Club at The Summit.
There was no doubles action Thursday.
