Kalispell police were called at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, when a woman knocked on someone's door on the end of South Woodland Avenue. It was the fourth report in two days of a dirty and confused woman with a small boy in tow. She was taken into custody and a search warrant was sought for her vehicle, which is a tow truck.

A man was arrested for family-member assault for allegedly assaulting his elderly father. It is his third arrest on the charge, which becomes a felony offense after two.

Two teens were arrested for drug possession at the high school. Officers counseled parents of three small children who were left unattended at Peterson School. High-school boys reportedly harassed and cursed at a child on his way to Hedges School Thursday.

Two boys reportedly taped door locks open and covered security cameras at the Episcopal church on Second Avenue East. No burglary ensued.

A man left for the night after a domestic disturbance at the Outlaw Inn attracted police. A woman in town reported that her ex-husband is violating a restraining order she has against him.

Calls to a woman on Denver Street have been explicit and described her body parts. The suspected culprit is a 7-year-old boy, whose parents were notified.

A bank reported forgery. A cell phone was stolen at Sawbuck's.

A man described as a transient, dressed all in black and carrying a backpack, caused consternation by hanging around Diamond Lil's. A transient near Wendy's after midnight agreed that it was time to go to bed.

Near the Rosebriar Inn at 2:30 a.m., a man who behaved oddly fled when officers approached, heightening their suspicions. Perhaps slowed by the weight of all that suspicion, he was caught and charged with resisting arrest.

Skateboarders on Second Avenue West intimidated older people who wanted them to stop riding on handrails and such.
