Robert E. Hunter, 94, of Polson, passed away at Evergreen Health and Rehab. Center in Polson on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hunter, of Polson; a son, John Hunter, of Kingsland, Ga.; a daughter, Janice Turner, of Anchorage, Ala.; a sister, Genevieve Goulet, of Colfax, Calif.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two stepsons, G. Edward Dean of Polson, and Dwight Dean of Biddeford, Maine.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Grogan Funeral Home in Polson. Rosary will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m. today, and Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at the church, with Father Val Zdilla officiating.

Interment will be afterward at Lakeview Cemetery, Polson. A reception will be afterward at the church.
