The Flathead County Sheriff's Office has a good idea who robbed the Lucky Logger Casino near Wal-Mart on Sunday night. The man reportedly took cash forcibly from an employee there and then fled. The crime was reported at about 9 p.m. The robber, in his 40s, is described as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, slender, with a dark gray beard, gray unkempt long hair, and a dark mustache. Detectives on Monday were gathering information for an arrest warrant.

There's a sequel to the story about the romantic man who took his girlfriend to a construction site off of Lion Loop Road, where he fired up heavy equipment after midnight Sunday to show her what he does for a living. The equipment owner called Monday to say that the man does not work for him anymore and the joy ride damaged his equipment.

Stolen mail was reported on King Way.

The latest in a series of odd little happenings on Elk Herd Road was reported Sunday, when four screws were found loosened on the taillight of a vehicle.

Someone threw rocks on Foy's Lake Road. Someone flung mud at a business on U.S. 2 East. A rock was thrown at Brian's Cenex. A large chunk of concrete was reported a mile south of Lakeside on U.S. 93.

A woman reported she was pulled over by an officer who asked for a date. She said she doesn't know which agency he works for, but he's short.

A man upset his mother by going to her house and threatening to put her and his father in a nursing home.

A dirt bike was stolen on Tamarack Lane.

A break-in was reported on Montana 206.

There was strange behavior on U.S. 93 near Majestic Valley Arena on Sunday evening, when a woman was seen on the highway appearing as if she was trying to stop traffic. Another caller said the woman was lying in the middle of the highway. She told a deputy she had lost her wallet and was looking for it.

A windshield was smashed at Blacktail Grocery Store. A car's paint was damaged at Wal-Mart after the owner had a confrontation with someone.

A black bear was reported in the back yard of a home on North Hilltop Road.

There were lights on and people walking around inside a home under construction on Deer Crossing Lane. They turned out to be a late-night construction crew, hanging dry wall at about 11 p.m. A shot was fired into another home under construction on Montana 206.

More suspicious activity was reported at Montana Village, where two youths were seen running down a road, carrying a television, and exhorting one another to "Hurry, hurry."

A vehicle reported stolen from the Rocky Mountain Road House was found in less than an hour later in Lake County, where it was running, unoccupied, and had hit a deer.

A woman said a man was at her property on Willow Glen Drive, despite a court order stopping him from being there.

A missing hunter and his redbone hound were found Monday morning in the Swan area.

Deputies talked to two girls in Hungry Horse about reasons why they shouldn't bang on doors and make threats at 4 a.m. A domestic disturbance that happened Saturday night on Dawn Drive was reported Monday morning.
