Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested two men on motorcycles Wednesday after a complaint that they were driving recklessly and popping wheelies near Depratu Ford. Turns out the motorcycles were stolen. A 21-year-old man was charged with vehicle theft, reckless driving, eluding police, and having no license. A 23-year-old man was charged with vehicle theft, eluding and having no license.

Another apparently reckless driver was reported on U.S. 93, heading north into town. He was an expectant father, taking his laboring wife to the hospital.

Business signs were stolen at Riverside Plaza.

A bear scavenged in trash on West Lakeshore Drive.
