The Flathead County Sheriff's Office divided its time between human and animal problems.

Someone called for help with an injured or sick squirrel on Bernard Road. A cat was shot on Wagner Lane. A resident on Patrick Creek Road said her neighbor's nine geese use her lodge for a bathroom.

A domestic dispute was witnessed in a vehicle on U.S. 2 and Reserve Drive.

A resident on Turtle Mountain Road complained that a neighbor cut down a tree. Children reportedly threw rocks at another child outside of Columbia Falls. A boy reportedly kicked another boy in the side in Hungry Horse; a deputy went to the Dam Town Tavern to talk to the kicker's parents. Two women fought at a Coram bar. A 15-year-old girl was reported out of control Friday on U.S. 93 South. On Steel Mountain Road, a woman used a sledgehammer to try to get into a closed bedroom, from which her husband called for help. Burglaries were reported on Upper Lost Prairie Road and on Farm to Market Road, where intruders smashed a window to get in.
